If we are unable to verify your business within 30 days of payment, you will receive a 100% refund — no questions asked.

What This Means

If our team determines that we cannot complete your business verification within 30 calendar days from the date of payment, we will:

  • Notify you via email with a detailed explanation
  • Process a full refund to your original payment method within 5-7 business days
  • Close your verification application

30-Day Timeline Starts When:

The 30-day period begins on the date your payment is successfully processed, not when you submit your application.

Refund Eligibility - Rejected Applications

If your verification application is rejected because we cannot verify your business through no fault of yours, you are eligible for a full refund.

Eligible for Refund

You qualify for a refund if your application is rejected due to:

  • Inability to verify business registration through state databases (system errors or database unavailability)
  • Our inability to access required third-party verification resources
  • Technical issues on our end preventing completion of verification
  • Missing or incomplete public records beyond your control
  • Our determination that we cannot complete the verification process

NOT Eligible for Refund

Refunds will not be issued if your application is rejected due to:

  • False or fraudulent information: Submitting inaccurate, misleading, or falsified business information or documents
  • Incomplete documentation: Failure to provide required documents after multiple requests
  • Invalid business entity: Business not properly registered with state authorities or registration suspended/revoked
  • Non-responsive applicant: Failure to respond to verification team inquiries within 14 days
  • P.O. box address: Using a P.O. box instead of a physical business address
  • Non-US business: Business not registered in the United States
  • Failure to meet verification criteria: Business does not meet our published verification standards
  • Suspected fraud or illegal activity: Evidence of fraudulent business operations or illegal activities
  • Terms of Service violations: Violation of our Terms of Service during the application process

Approved Applications - No Refunds

Once your verification application is approved and your verification badge is issued, the verification fee is non-refundable.

Why No Refunds After Approval?

When we approve your verification:

  • We have completed comprehensive research and verification of your business
  • We have generated your custom verification badge
  • Your business information is published on our platform
  • Your verification appears on domain lookup reports
  • You have received the full service you paid for

Change of Mind

If you change your mind after approval, you may choose not to renew your verification when it expires, but the original verification fee is non-refundable.

Pending Applications - Withdrawal & Refunds

Before Review Begins

If you wish to cancel your application before our verification team begins the review process (typically within 1-2 business days of payment), you may request a full refund minus a $10 processing fee.

After Review Begins

Once our team has started reviewing your application:

  • 0-7 days after payment: 50% refund available
  • 8-14 days after payment: 25% refund available
  • 15+ days after payment: No refund available

How to Request Withdrawal

To withdraw your application, email support@verified.us.com with your application ID and reason for withdrawal. We will confirm the refund amount based on the timeline above.

Renewal Refunds

Annual Renewals

Verification renewals are non-refundable once payment is processed. However:

  • You can cancel renewal before your expiration date to prevent automatic charges
  • You will receive renewal reminders 30 days before expiration
  • If you accidentally renew, contact us within 48 hours for possible refund consideration

Accidental Renewal

If you accidentally renew your verification, you may request a refund within 48 hours of payment. We will review your request on a case-by-case basis. After 48 hours, renewal payments are non-refundable.

Refund Processing

How Refunds Are Issued

All refunds are processed through the same payment method used for the original purchase (Stripe). Refunds cannot be issued to a different payment method.

Processing Timeline

  • Review of refund request: 1-3 business days
  • Refund initiation: 1-2 business days after approval
  • Bank/card processing: 5-10 business days (depends on your bank)

Refund Notification

You will receive email confirmation when:

  • Your refund request is received
  • Your refund request is approved or denied
  • Your refund has been processed and initiated

Verification Tier Upgrades & Downgrades

Upgrading During Review

If you wish to upgrade your verification tier (e.g., Basic to Enhanced) while your application is under review, you will only pay the price difference. No refund of the original payment is required.

Downgrading

Downgrades are not permitted once payment has been processed. If you select a higher tier and change your mind:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of payment
  • We will review your request on a case-by-case basis
  • If approved, you will receive a partial refund equal to the tier difference minus a $25 administrative fee

Chargebacks & Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company, please contact us at support@verified.us.com. We are committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly.

Chargeback Consequences

If you file a chargeback:

  • Your verification will be immediately suspended or revoked
  • Your account may be permanently closed
  • You will be required to remove all verification badges
  • You may be prohibited from applying for future verification

Fraudulent Chargebacks

Fraudulent chargebacks (e.g., claiming non-receipt of services when verification was completed) may result in legal action to recover losses, including chargeback fees and legal costs.

Exceptions & Special Circumstances

We understand that unique situations may arise. We will consider refund requests outside of this policy on a case-by-case basis for:

  • Duplicate payments or billing errors
  • Technical issues preventing application submission
  • Service outages preventing verification completion
  • Extenuating circumstances (business closure, death, etc.)
